The outfit: Just an easy pair of shorts and t-shirt (Ann Taylor.com), but polished looking because of the neutral pallet and handsome accessories (Ralph Lauren sandals at Bloomingdales.com, Ralph Lauren belt at Nordstrom.com, hobo bag Michael Kors at Bloomindales.com, Juicy Couture earrings at Nordstrom.com)



Hint: These short are for those with good legs; longer shorts or a khaki skirt may be better for you. Make sure the fit of this outfit is generous, it’s an easy look–no tight clothing.

As the mother of a 22 year old, I’m at that stage in my life when some styles just aren’t attractive or appropriate anymore. My two biggest fears are looking like my mother and looking like my daughter.
